*Disclaimer: If you’re about to comment “I bet you went home and I bet you drove there!”, a) you’re wrong and b) I’m sure you think you’re being really witty and original but I’ve heard that joke at least a dozen times. Sorry. It’s done. I know it’s just a fortune cookie, but right now it’s message means a lot more to me than a dumb joke. It sums up everything I’ve spent hours thinking about lately and all the things about my life I’ve spent endless time considering.
I too feel that this is where I should be rather than where I am. Life is cruel and unusual sometimes, and the harder we try to advance and progress to reach those goals, the more obstacles that get thrown in our way. Sometimes, though, it is much more fun to wander off the path and go for an adventure! Don’t worry about where you are going and how to get there… just enjoy the journey and you’ll end up where you want to be.
