Huh, why would I even make an about page? That was silly of me. You think I’d know best out of anyone that I despise writing about myself, wouldn’t you? Oh well, let’s start things off.
I’m a developer at Resolution Interactive Media. I mainly focus on websites in PHP, but I also dabble in .NET sites and applications, Android apps written in Java, and whatever other outlying technologies come our way. I plan to start learning Objective C for iOS apps in the near future (even though I’m on team Android). Maybe one day I’ll even try to figure out what this Drupal thing is all about. Maybe.
In my time off I train and compete in cycling. I got my first road bike in July of 2012, and rode my first race less than a month later. I started at the tail end of the season, so with only 2 races under my belt, I don’t have much to brag about. After a winter of training at the Forest City Velodrome, I intend to start the 2013 season off strong and will hopefully be able to dominate a few races.
The other major part of my life is electronic music and the associated EDM and rave culture. I began attending local events in 2010 and quickly became immersed. Or maybe obsessed would be a better word. In 2012 I attended my first 3 day festival (or “Massive” as some people call them) when I flew to Vegas for Electric Daisy Carnival. All of the amazing people I met, the experience, and the festival itself completely changed my life. If you’re unfamiliar, raves are extremely positive, loving, supportive places. I continue to share music and attend as many shows and festivals as I can. Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect.
